Har Ki Dun Trek

This is one of the popular trekking spots in the Uttarakhand region, which lies at an altitude of about 11,675 feet above sea level. This trekking spot has mountains in the shape of cradles hence this place known as the Hanging Valley is popular among trekkers. People who have visited this place will call this place a wonderland during the winter as the snow covers this place totally and there wouldn’t be even a small sign of where the trails are marked and the rays of the sun would surely hit you through the clouds. This place has other highlights that make it unique for everyone to visit such as the forest, meadows, river, alpine lake, streams, the mountain views, and also the culture they hold that was passed on from their ancestors. Kuari Pass Trek

At an elevation of about 12516 feet above sea level, lies a trekking spot known as the Kuari Pass Trek, which is one of the best treks in the region of Uttarakhand. It is said that Lord Curzon discovered the trails of the spot back in the year 1905, hence this tracking spot is also popularly known as the Curzon trekking spot. It takes about 6 days to explore this trekking spot. Hathi Ghori Parvat, Bertholi, Neelkanth, Dronagiri, Mana, Kamet, Nanda Devi Peak as well as the Majestic Garhwal mountains on the eastern slopes are some of the splendid views this place has offered to us not only that the oak trees, deodar adds beauty to this place. They also say there are some of the rare flora and fauna that are protected and the trekkers would luckily witness those too.

Valley Of Flowers

Located in Uttarakhand, at an elevation of roughly 12,001 feet, the Valley of Flowers trek may be done in 5-6 days. As the name implies, this location has a wide variety of blooms, including several rare wildflowers. This is the ideal location for anyone who wishes to see flowers of various colors. This location is a UNESCO World Heritage Site as well. The blue sheep, musk deer, snow leopard, Asian civet species, and other unusual fauna can be found here. The Hemkund Sahib Gurudwara is regarded as a holy site, and visitors can take a swim in the neighboring lake, which is also considered holy.

Rupin Pass Trek

At an altitude of 15250 feet in the Himalayan regions, Uttarakhand trekking begins from Dehradun of Uttarakhand and goes up to Shimla of Himachal Pradesh which is also surrounded by small hamlets this also gives a chance to experience and explore the local cultural beauty of the same. The snowy bridges, verdant glacial meadows, cascades are some of the highlights of this place along with large rivers, beautiful hamlets, snow-capped mountains, hundreds of waterfalls, and hanging villages which truly add beauty to the spot. There is a spot that trekkers would feel as it hangs out of the Cliff which is actually a village known as the Jhaka village which lies on the mountain ranges of the same. Chopta Tungnath Trek

Popular for its mesmerizing sceneries, the Chopta Tungnath is an unexplored piece of land in the regions of Uttarakhand which is about 11,154 feet altitude. This place is also blessed with a lot of flora and fauna amidst the dense forest, and a lot of beautiful pine, decor trees. They also have some amazingly colored rhododendrons and also the oak forests along with the rest. The alpine meadows on the trekking uphill towards the Tungnath Temple which is believed to be the place where the arms of Lord Shiva have emerged. Exploring these places takes almost 6 – 7 days.

Dodital Lake Trek

Climbing to this trekking spot is said to be one of the most beautiful trekking spots the Uttarakhand region can ever offer us, which is 13615 ft in altitude and can be completed in 6 days. The trekkers get a chance to trek through the oak forests, fir forests, and so on. There is a lake at the end of this place which leads to a beautiful ancient temple where Lord Ganesha is the center of attraction, which is believed to be his birthplace.
