How to Get Your Gmail Displayed in Chrome

Gmail won’t load in Chrome if you have this problem. You see, Google has blocked the ability of Chrome to use some parts of the Google Toolbar. This means that whenever you try to open a new page in Chrome, you will get a message from Chrome asking “Cannot open page”.

Well, it’s not the whole page that is not loading – but the part of the code which is causing Gmail not to load is. This is a big problem for any user who uses the Google Toolbar to open their web browser. Chrome has an option to show a menu for all your open tabs. If you have lots of tabs open (and most people do) then this setting is probably not good for you.

To find this setting, just go to settings > advanced options >’show all bookmarks‘. Then click on the ‘restore’ button. That’s your best solution to getting Google to load in Chrome again.

The first thing you should do if you get the error message is to check whether it’s a Google related error message. If so, then you will be able to fix it very easily yourself.

First of all, restart your web browser. To do that, simply press CTRL + ALT + DEL. This will switch you to the Windows Task Manager, from which you can select “task manager” and then “stop” to stop the application.

If that did not fix your error message, then the next step is to reinstall the Gmail application. To do that, go to the Google website and click “Start”, then ” Clicker Tools”, click “Updates & Security”, click “Check for updates” and then “Check again” to complete the installation. Follow these steps to reinstall the Gmail web browser:

o Right click on the error message and then click “Endeavor to uninstall”. o At the bottom of the window, click “OK”. o Then click on “Remove Google Chrome”, the Google window will appear, click “Yes” to confirm. o After the Google window has appeared, close it and then click ” reinstall” to start the installation of the new web browser. You may have to follow the same steps above to reinstall other Google applications, like YouTube or Google Finance.

If none of those steps help, the reason why your Gmail won’t load in Chrome may be that your system does not have the latest version of the browser or it has been infected by a virus. First of all, make sure that your computer has an up to date antivirus program installed.

Also, look for instructions in the error message to clean up the infection. Go to the Google site and then search for an “antivirus” program, but make sure that it’s certified by Microsoft. Run it and follow the onscreen instructions.

If all of these steps do not work, the reason why your gmail is not working in Chrome could be that you are having technical difficulties with your Internet connection. Check to see if there are connection errors on your screen. If you see the “P2P not compatible with this Internet browser” error message, the connection might be faulty.

Try to repair the connection using a software tool for your system such as Win Repair Pro. Or, if that does not work, run the Google Chrome Recovery Tool to see if it can fix the technical problem.

The next thing you can do if you cannot get your email in Chrome is to check to see if there is an update for the browser. Google usually releases a few small updates every month or week. When you go to their website, you should see a post with the download link. Follow the download link to ensure that you have the latest version of the browser.
